Hi!

I hope everyone who celebrated had a nice Easter and/or Passover! Kaya and I got some yummy treats in our Easter baskets. We got Ferrero Rocher eggs, colorful Easter eggs and Lindt chocolate animals-Kaya got a chick and I got a lamb. Yum!

We didn't do a lot on Easter but we of course had to watch Hop! I love that movie so much-EB and Fred are awesome, haha! EB: "You have nothing to fear but fear itself...and this dog I'm riding on."

This week is Spring vacation and I'm so glad to have a week off from school! Though I still have homework to do that I haven't even started yet...including a book report-blah. I just read Gabriela's book so I think I'll do my report on that. The thing is, I'm not very good at writing book reports or essays or research papers. I'm better (at least I think so) at writing stories and poems and blogging/writing letters. Writing that's not as strict or structured.

Anyway, this afternoon, a package arrived for me-my Mini Tenney doll that my mom helped me order last week! I was so excited, I jumped up and down and quickly opened her up! Mini Tenney is my third Mini American Girl doll, after Nellie and Ruthie. And Tenney is my Mini AG lookalike doll-my Mini-Me! We both have blonde hair, brown eyes and freckles 😊.

I'm so happy to have Mini Tenney now! I used Christmas and birthday money to get her and she's wicked pretty and I can't wait to read her book with her. Oh course Nellie is still my favorite Mini AG doll as she was my first but Tenney may just become my second favorite (not that I don't love Ruthie because I do!).
QOTD: Do you have any lookalike dolls? Susiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05366146393014694059noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3705697377416282716.post-90175357283151542662017-03-11T15:39:00.000-05:002017-04-19T17:01:18.836-04:00BlahUgh-I keep forgetting to update this blog. It's been over a year since my last post! I doubt anyone even reads this anymore anyway...It's just that nothing exciting really seems to happen to me. Just school woes, it seems. Like today I got back a math homework assignment that I failed miserably on, and a social studies quiz that I didn't fare much better on (a D+). Blah blah blah-di-blah-blah...

Tears immediately started to come to my eyes when I got each paper but I'm hoping that no one noticed. I tried to hide my head in my arms. Marina seemed to know that I was upset but I wouldn't tell her why when she asked. She would probably just say that I need to ask for help and stay after school or come in early and such. And that I should get over being afraid of my teachers because they're there to help us students succeed.

But it's so hard to ask teachers for help sometimes (actually MOST of the time) when you're shy and afraid of what others think of you. I'm afraid that because I don't do well on my schoolwork and tests and projects a lot of times, that my teachers see me as a failure. And sometimes I feel like one :(. Part of me knows that I'm not a failure and that sometimes I can do well but there's always those stupid, negative thoughts. And it doesn't help that I'm a procrastinator who thinks that school and homework are boring. And I usually don't have good ideas for projects or even if I do, the execution of them is terrible. I've had a couple of projects where I've done well, like my story project where I dressed my doll, Isadorah, as a pioneer named Lottie. Actually she still wears her pioneer dress because it's her favorite. But on the other hand I had to make a diorama one time and it came out horribly and I got a D on it. Overall, I wish I had better ideas when it came to projects.

Anyway, in other news, I'm hoping to get a Mini Tenney with Christmas and birthday money that I saved. Tenney looks a lot like me-blonde hair, brown eyes and freckles! I haven't read her books yet so I can't really comment on them. If and when I get her, she'll be my third Mini AG doll (Nellie was my first and Ruthie my second).

QOTD:
1)Which Mini AG dolls do you have?
2)What is the best school project you've done? What is the worst school project you've done?Susiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05366146393014694059noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3705697377416282716.post-75946896599828655472015-06-18T20:35:00.001-04:002017-04-19T16:58:27.470-04:00Almost Summer

Well, it looks like I haven't posted in awhile. School is almost done for the year which I'm so glad about. My grades are still pretty much the same. I got A+'s on two of my homework assignments-spelling and vocab, and social studies.
I would have done worse on the social studies one which was on naming all the states but Ms. Merriman helped me when she had me stay after, a couple weeks ago...

She also had me stay after yesterday because...well...I, uh...didn't do so well on my...math and science tests... (I got a C+ and C-, respectively). Originally my plan was to just sneak out of the classroom because I really hate having to talk to my teachers; I see a paper with a "Please see me" on it and I try to ignore it because I'm too scared to go up to my teachers. Especially if it's because I didn't do too well.

But...Ms. Merriman stopped beside my desk and told me to stay after for a bit. So as much as I wanted to just sneak out of the classroom as quickly as I could, I probably would have gotten caught anyway. And of course Ms. Merriman wanted to talk to me about the two tests. With the math one, it was on multiplying fractions and having to reduce them if possible. I hate fractions! I'm not good at simplifying them. It's so confusing, unless it's something easy like 25/50. That's 1/2 since 25 is half of 50. But something like 35/120 confuses me. Ms. Merriman did try to explain it to me again and had me practice a couple of the problems I had gotten wrong (actually I got half points for getting the multiplication part right). Then she gave me five more fractions to simplify last night for more practice. I managed to get three of them right but I couldn't figure one out and another wasn't simplified enough apparently. I did somehow manage to get up the courage to come to school a few minutes early today so that I could get help on the two questions. And for doing the five questions, Ms. Merriman did give me extra credit points on my quiz.

Oh no! Speaking of extra credit, I have to do a planet chart and write about a state if I want any extra credit for science and social studies-and they're due tomorrow! And I've known about them for a couple weeks because Ms. Merriman told me about them at the meeting two weeks ago...and of course I've kept putting it off. What am I going to do?

Did I mention I'm glad school is almost over for the year?*

*Not that Ms. Merriman is a bad teacher or anything. She's been nice and helpful, like Mrs. Halliwell. I just don't like school! It's wicked boring most of the time. And I get nervous around my teachers.

PS. How ironic is it that I hate school but so many of my blog posts seem to be school-related?But I digress.Susiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05366146393014694059noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3705697377416282716.post-82003033188676531092015-01-14T20:19:00.002-05:002015-01-14T20:26:15.127-05:00Happy 2015!It's still hard to believe that it's 2015 already! I feel like Christmas went by too fast. I still want to listen to Christmas songs!

It's been forever since I've written. I don't know if anyone really reads this blog anymore. I just haven't had too much going on lately. But let's start from September I guess. On September 8th, a new girl named Isabelle Palmer moved to Star Valley. Isabelle is in the 4th grade and is cousins with Brooke Soriano. I guess Isabelle loves dance, especially ballet, and fashion design. She might get along with Heather or Sonali then. Heather loves ballet and Sonali loves fashion. Also, that means that now there are not only Nicki Fleming and Nikki Halliwell, there are Isabel King and Isabelle Palmer.

For Halloween I was a gypsy. I wore my hair in a high ponytail with a couple of little twists. It was fun. Kaya went as a vampire.

Nothing too much happened in November. Just a small Thanksgiving meal with my family.

I got some cute gifts including a new My Little Pony toy. I helped my mom make dinner and we had a sweet potato pie. I had never tried that before; it's good. We we didn't really do too much on Christmas. My brother, Peter, Kaya and I each got to choose a movie to watch. I picked A Christmas Story because it's one of my favorites. We also had our holiday concert. I tried out for a solo but didn't get one. Marina and Nikki H. got a duet and Aimee got a solo. Oh well.

Here are some pics of me and Kaya decorating our tree; it's always one of my favorite traditions!
So that brings us to this month. I've been reflecting on 2014 and how I didn't complete nearly as many goals as I had hoped for. I wanted to write a new short story and that never happened. I haven't been good at keeping up with letters to friends. And my grades...have been the usual.
With that said, here my goals for 2015:
1) Try to do better on my homework (blah)
2) Try to keep my room cleaner (blah)
3) Learn something new
4) Write a new short story

Will I get any of them accomplished, I don't know. I think #3 might be the easiest one of the bunch. Anyway, I have a little bit of homework to finish up-social studies. TTYL.

Oh, before I go, here is a video of highlights from last month's concert:

PS. What are your goals for 2015?
Susiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05366146393014694059noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3705697377416282716.post-35817998789576292382014-04-30T20:26:00.003-04:002014-04-30T20:34:21.308-04:00The Meeting Monday
So, Monday we had to go back to school (vacations are so short!) and so I had to stay after school and have a meeting with Mrs. Halliwell. At first I'd hoped that she'd forgotten about it but while we were paired up and working on our projects, she came by to remind me. By the way, if anyone is interested, our project is that we have to come up with articles (local, national, world news...weather, etc.) and present them in class as if we're doing a news show. Jessica McConnell and I are partners so that's fun.

Anyhoo, so after school was over, I stayed in my seat until Mrs. Halliwell called me over to her desk. Then I reluctantly gathered my stuff and went to see her. First we went over the extra credit paper that I had mostly done. She showed me how to figure out where the decimal point goes, in the answer, then had me do them. Then she corrected my paper (I got 4 wrong, out of 10) and instead of giving me a 60% because of the questions I got wrong, Mrs. Halliwell had me try the four questions again, in front of her. It took me a couple of tries on a couple of them and I got frustrated. Mrs. Halliwell could see that because she kept telling me that it was okay and not to beat myself up over it. Along with doing the problems right there, she asked me to try to figure out where I'd made my mistakes the first time around. Eventually, though, I got them all right and Mrs. Halliwell gave me a 100% on the extra credit. I still don't think I deserved it though...

After that, she told me to redo the questions that I had gotten wrong, from the homework sheet before vacation, for more extra credit. She already corrected the answers but wants me to redo the problems on my own. Then, she quickly went over my social studies quiz with me. We had gotten them back yesterday and...no surprise, I failed it, too. *Sighs* It's my fault for barely studying. Mrs. Halliwell had me rewrite the quiz questions, with the right name, in the beginning of each senetence. And if I want to do extra credit for S.S., I have to write at least one page on the Lousiana Purchase. *Head-desk* It's sooo boring. Learning that stuff makes me yawn. I like some history but other history, not so much. It really depends on both the subject and how I'm learning, I think.

So, needless to say, I have a lot of homework to do and no motivation to do it. The story of my homework-loaded life. But, I suppose I should try to do something...

Blah...

I want it to last longer! Even though my vacation has been pretty quiet, just staying at home, I'm not ready to go back to school yet.

For Easter, Kaya and I got Lindt chocolate bunnies, some other candy, eggs and bubbles to share. Kaya got a pretty pink flower hairclip and I got an adorable little pink bunny toy! I also sent some Easter toys and bubbles to a few of my friends. :)

I did most of my extra credit math worksheet that Mrs. Halliwell gave me. The only thing I didn't do was the actual decimal points. I'm going to ask Mrs. Halliwell about them, on Monday. I hope she doesn't mind that I didn't do that part yet. I'm also worried about a social studies quiz we had last Friday. We'll probably get them back on Monday and I don't think I did well at all. :/ It's a good thing they don't have dunce caps anymore because I'd be the one wearing it. All. The. Time. Ugh.
Susiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05366146393014694059noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3705697377416282716.post-2861746824525901312014-04-18T19:01:00.003-04:002014-04-18T19:05:38.429-04:00School Work Blues

What a beginning to my Spring vacation...my day went okay for the most part...until Math class that is. We got back our worksheets from a few days ago and on top of mine was a 42%-an F. I was immediately bummed and hoped that no one else saw my horrible grade. :/ Our worksheet was on multiplying decimals.

I'm not the best with my multiplication and I also got confused on where to put the decimal point. I guess it's my own fault because I wasn't fully paying attention when Mrs. Halliwell went over it in class. Math is just sooooo wicked boring! And I'm no good at it and...I dunno.

To top it off, I got a C on my science quiz. And I forgot my vocab homework at home. Needless to say, Mrs. Halliwell wanted to see me after school for a few minutes. I tried to sneak out of the classroom before she said anything but I wasn't quick enough. Mrs. Halliwell gave me another worksheet on multiplying decimals that she wants me to do for extra credit, over vacation. Blah. She also said that she wants to have a meeting with me after school, the Monday we come back from vacation. I think she probably wants to go over the work with me. So now I'll be apprehensive about that all next week! I don't want to stay after but she already called my mom and told her! I of course cried and ran up to hide under the covers. I'm scared and nervous. I'm not looking forward to the meeting at all. I usually stay quiet and start to cry silently. I'm always afraid that Mrs. Halliwell with laugh at me or yell at me or something because of my stupid grades. I mean, part of me knows that she won't but another part of me thinks "what if she does?" and thinks all these negative thoughts, even though they probably aren't true. Does anyone else ever think that way?

I'm going to try to not think about the meeting next week. I want to have a fun vacation, even though I now have an extra homework sheet to do. I'm excited for Easter-we're coloring eggs in a little while which is always one of my favorite traditions. Then we're watching Hop! EB and Fred are so funny! Phil, too, lol.

Anyway, ciao for now.

We get to stay up late and then tomorrow, Hallie and Kaya have a project to work on. I should probably bring along some homework to do while they work on their project. Though I don't want to. But tomorrow is Sunday after all and I suppose if I have any questions, I can ask Mrs. Halliwell. Which I'm reluctant to do as you all probably know well.

I missed a question on my math homework the other day. I was wicked sleepy and skipped it because I couldn't think. And we had a quiz today and I skipped three questions and was unsure about my answers on two others. :/ What if Mrs. Halliwell grades my homework sheet and quiz while I'm at her house? It always makes me nervous when I sleep over or spend the day at Hallie's. Do any of you have a teacher who is a friend's parent?

And speaking of Mrs. Halliwell, a few nights ago, I had this really weird dream! My mom, my brother, Peter, and I (along with Pounce and my Ice Bat plush) were staying at Mrs. Halliwell's house! Hallie and her siblings weren't even in the dream-just us and Mrs. and Mr. Halliwell! In the dream, it was late at night so we went to bed. Peter's alarm went off around 2 or 3AM because he was going somewhere. So it woke the rest of us up. Then, me, my mom and Mrs. Halliwell had a random conversation. A little later, I looked for Pounce, who had been hiding. She came out of hiding and I offered her some swiss cheese (I'd had a slice before bed, IRL). Then Ice Bat and I went back to sleep. The next day, my mom must've gone to work or gone out. I was at my computer, surfing the 'net but supposed to be doing homework. Then Mrs. Halliwell comes up to me and tells me that I should be doing my homework and I woke up from my dream. Say what? It was so awkward. And thinking about it makes me a bit nervous about sleeping over tonight-even though I've slept over plenty of times before. I mean, how do you interpret a dream like that?

What is a weird dream that you've had? Have you ever dreamt about someone you know?

Hey everyone! I'm usually so bad at these award things but I decided to sit down and do this one right now. I've been tagged by Inky for the Prestigious Liebster Award. For this award, you first answer 11 questions from the person who tagged you. Then you come up with 11 questions and tag 11 more people and those people answer the questions you chose. I hope that makes sense, lol.

Here we go. First up, my answers to Inky's Questions:

1) What is your favorite animated movie or TV show? My favorite animated movie is Balto. My favorite cartoon is Sailor Moon. And Lizzie McGuire-it's partly animated! Oh, I also love the Pleasantville movies-especially Pleasantville and the Great Outdoors-it's stop-frame animation. ;)

>2) What is your favorite animal? My favorite animals are sheep and cats.

>3) Which animal are you most like? Hmmm, probably a cat or a little church-mouse. I really don't know.

>4) If you had the chance, would you go into space? Probably not. Unless it's a rollercoaster, I'm not one for heights. I'm also afraid something bad could happen. Could I just get my name on Mars like Nafy Merriman? I love looking at stars and clouds though.

>5) Would you rather go on a boat trip to Alaska or the Caribbean? That's a toughie but I would say Alaska. I'd love to see the Northern Lights. I think you can sometimes see them from around here but I never have.

>6) What is your favorite holiday? Christmas-which is also my birthday! Halloween would be a close second.

>7) Do you speak any other languages? Which ones? Does Pig-Latin count?

>8) Do you collect anything? If so, what do you collect? I collect dolls and stuffed animals.

>9) What is your favorite candy? Almond Joy and Dark Chocolate Lindt Truffles

>10) What do you like to drink when you are especially thirsty? Chocolate milk

>11) What is your favorite outfit? Hmmm, for AG I guess I would have to say the Winter Magic Outfit which is my Christmas outfit. For non-AG, it would be a tie between my pink dress from BeanBunny and my Lizzie McGuire PJs.

Okey Dokey Smokey, here are my 11 Questions for the 11 people that I will tag below.

1) What is your favorite song from the 80's?
2) Who is your favorite Muppet?
3) Would you rather change your past...or know your future?
4) Cotton Candy or Candy Apples?
5) Do you listen to podcasts? If yes, which ones?*
6) Do you have any AG dolls? If yes, which ones?
7) Do you usually do weekend homework on Friday, Saturday or Sunday?
8) Are you a Rebel...or a Royal?
9) What is your favorite candle scent?
10) What book are you currently reading?
11) If you could visit Star Valley (the doll town I live in) where would you go first: The Raspberry Flummery Café; the Star Valley General Store; or the Star Valley Salon?

And lastly, I will tag...

*I'm going to do a little shameless plug for Clarfycast! Clarfycast is a doll town podcast hosted by Rilla and Anna of Star Valley and Clara of Waterloo. ;)Susiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05366146393014694059noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3705697377416282716.post-32722155635544328102014-03-02T23:56:00.005-05:002014-03-03T00:02:46.646-05:00Some Random Updates
Hey guys. Ugh, I am so bad at updating my blog-and I love writing-so that's doubly pathetic. I just don't seem to have as many fun adventures or ideas to post as some of my blogging friends. Things have been pretty quiet and I'm just chilling in my Lizzie McGuire PJs, with Pounce on my lap.

I guess I'll do a quick recap of the last few months. First, a few months ago, Sloane's cat, Salem, ran away. He never came back and she seemed really sad. I don't really talk to Sloane but I know how much I love my kitties and I would hate for something bad to happen to them. So, I had talked to my parents and I decided to give my kitten, Zip (Pounce's kitten) to Sloane. She seemed genuinely heartfelt about it and I think she was happy to have a new cat, even though he can never replace her beloved Salem. So now we just have my cat, Pounce, and Kaya's cat, Licorice, here in the Kent home. I miss Zip but I know he's safe and sound and with someone who loves him.

For Christmas I got a stocking full of candy, a Jingle plush (and Kaya got Bell) and my birthday present was a Yoohoo and Friends plush! He's gray and white and his name is Lemmee and he's a lemur. I think the Yoohoo and Friends plushies are adorable and I love Tessa's Hapee, a purple and white Red Panda. I was excited to get one of my own. :) Oh, I also got a Kitten calendar for my room, for Christmas.

Here are a couple photos of our Christmas presents:

So far my 2014 has been quiet. I'm still doing the same in school....and, oh shoot! I have a couple of worksheets that I forgot to do. And it's late and I should be in bed. Ugh...I'll have to try to do them before I hand them in tomorrow. On top of that, I got a "C" on my book report and a "B-" on my spelling test. I have a research paper I have to start, too. I'm doing it on Tigers, one of my favorite animals (along with sheep and cats). The notecards are due Friday and I've barely started mine. I'll get on it tomorrow.

Well, goodnight!
~Susie

P.S. Here's a photo of Kaya's Bell and my Jingle with Missy's Jingle. :)

My summer was okay. I didn't really do anything exciting but I did go to Nicki's birthday party last month, which was fun. I wish I could've gone with Marina, Rilla, Gwen and Helen to Maine though-that would've been awesome!

A new girl by the name of Brooke moved to Star Valley in June. I think she's 12 or 13 and goes to Primrose Academy, the private school. Other than that, I don't know much about her.

School started a few days ago. Oh joy...not. We already have homework and we have desk partners. I'm stuck sitting next to Nikki Halliwell. She and I don't get along at all. She is so different than her younger sister, Hallie, who I am friends with. Why couldn't I be paired with Marina or Nicki or even Megan or Heather? It's not fair!

We have to write an essay over the weekend. "What is One Thing We Hope To Accomplish In School This Year?" I don't really know. *sighs*. I suppose the obvious should be try to work harder and earn better grades. But school is boring. I hate tests. And (unless I have my hand raised which is rarely) I hate being called on-either I'm not sure of the answer or if I do have it, my mind goes blank and I freeze either way. I am so unlike Marina and Megan; they're both straight-A students!

Hallie is having her annual first week back sleepover. Part of me doesn't really want to go, even though I already told her I would. But Kaya's coming, too, of course, and I think one or two others. Nicki and Kirsten, I think?

~Susie

P.S. Is it June yet?

P.S. #2: Here's some pics from Nicki's birthday party:

Sometimes I have a hard time coming up with answers to some of the questions, too...

Anyhoo, I was nominated for the Violets & Daisies Brilliant Blog Bouquet Award from my friend, Sophie Moreau. Thanks, Sophie!

Now onto the questions:

1. If you could have a 'flower pen name' like we have here on our blog, Violets and Daisies, what would it be? Um, I don't really know. I love carnations so maybe something with that, like Sweet Carnation or something?

2. What is your favorite ever Bible verse and why? I admit I don't really read the Bible but I like the one that was in A Walk To Remember when Jamie and Landon get married: St Paul to the Corinthians 13: 4-8 8, 13 "Love is always patient and kind, it is never jealous, love is never boastful or conceited, it is never rude or selfish, it does not take offense, nor is it resentful. Love takes no pleasure in others’ sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope and to endure whatever comes. Love does not come to an end. There are three things that last, faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love."

I also like the one that Sophie quoted on her blog because I like the song "Turn, Turn, Turn" by The Byrds which is almost like it.

3. What are the blogs that inspire you most? I would have to say Sophie's blog: Le Fabuleaux Destin de Sophie Amelie; Inky's blog: Super Inky and Wendy's blog: Wendy's Life. They're all online friends and I love reading about their adventures. They're all also really good at updating, unlike myself.

4. If you and your friends could visit any country in the world, where would you go? I think England would be fun. Or Greece-then we could jump off that cliff from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2-though I'd have to jump with a friend! Germany and Italy would be pretty, too.

Even if you've already been nominated, I nominate the following blogs:

1. The Water Street Girls' Blog
2. Wendy's Life
3. A Doll's Life
4. Samantha's Space
5. Super InkySusiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05366146393014694059noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3705697377416282716.post-33549439936315336432013-02-24T18:21:00.001-05:002013-02-24T18:24:25.114-05:00Happy Birthday, Kaya!Okay, before I get to today, I just wanted to show your guys what Kaya and I got for Valentine's Day, from my parents.

Okay, onto today. Today is Kaya's birthday! For Kaya's birthday, my parents and I got her a Beanie Boo pink poodle named Princess. Kaya loves dogs-and horses. She was so happy when she saw her gift. :)

It was partly because I hate being called on, in class, and partly because I-er-wasn't fully paying attention, I guess. When we started on our schoolwork, Mrs. Halliwell wanted to see me, at her desk. Eek! I nervously followed her and she talked to me a bit and told me that if I had a question, I could ask her for help. Then she asked me to stay at her desk to do my work. Probably partly because I tend to doodle-hearts, flowers, stars...when I do my homework or a test. She also probably sensed that I was nervous because she said that I could have a friend sit at the desk, with me. Of course, I chose Marina! She's always there for me. :) Mrs. Halliwell also checked my answers to make sure I was getting it. I felt embarrassed-sometimes I hate asking for help. But at least Mrs. Halliwell was nice and understanding. And Marina was nice and understanding, too. :)

*Sighs a breath of relief* Now it's the weekend so I can enjoy it! Well, I do have some homework but aside from that, I can enjoy it. We're reading The Secret Garden in Reading class. I'm liking it. Then again, I've loved all three versions of the movie that I've seen-and own. Mary and Dicken are my favorite characters in it.

~SusieSusiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05366146393014694059noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3705697377416282716.post-20853423470362794982013-01-19T21:56:00.002-05:002013-01-22T17:36:50.404-05:00Math Worksheets And SleepoversKaya and I are sleeping over at Hallie's tonight. How sad is it that I've been sorta trying to avoid Mrs. Halliwell? I have a math worksheet due on Tuesday but I haven't started yet. And we had a little timed worksheet to do in class yesterday and I didn't get all the way through...I hate the timed worksheets. They're usually a mix of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and all between 0 and 12. So stuff like 7x9 or 10+12 or 6/3...but since we only have a few minutes to do them, I never seem to finish. I swear my mind likes to go blank sometimes-even on easy questions! Or, with looking fast, I'll do the wrong thing...ugh...Mrs. Halliwell probably thinks I'm stupid. Icky math.

So whenever Mrs. Halliwell comes into the room we're in, I kinda duck and look down. I like hanging out and sleeping over at Hallie's but it's always awkward when your teacher is the mom of one of your friends.

And I know, I shouldn't be afraid. And I also know I've written similar-sounding posts before and will probably do more in the future...but still...

Anyway, other than the avoiding thing, we've been having a fun time. We set up some of Hallie's toys and had them go to the mall. Then they had a fashion show. We also played cards, like three-way war. Very fun. I won once and Kaya won twice.

We're about to go to bed soon. (and, for anyone wondering...yes, I do feel a bit nervous typing this. I don't want Mrs. Halliwell to see it. It makes me a bit jumpy, typing this entry-if she saw it, I'd probably be wicked embarrassed and she'd probably hate me and be mad and- ack!).

Signed,

Oh my gosh, I am sooooo sorry I haven't posted in months! I kept meaning to but just never got around to it, I guess. That and nothing too much has been going on lately.

I know this is old news now but over the summer, I got to meet up with Sophie (of Fair Hollow), who came to visit for a few days, and Claudia (who lives in Waterloo). We had a lot of fun walking around a park and taking pictures!

In September, I went to a birthday party for Olive and Aimee. We watched movies, played games, ate cake, and had fun getting to know each other better.

In the Fall, Kaya went to visit some of our friends in Waterloo. She had a lot of fun except she got scared when she and Claudia were watching Dr. Who. I've never seen it but Kaya said not to. It doesn't really seem interesting to me anyway. Then again, I watch Disney a lot.

In December, we went to the Tree Lighting Ceremony. It was fun; we stood around the tree, singing Christmas Carols, and we took pictures by the tree and drank hot chocolate and ate cookies.

Kaya and I had a nice time over the holidays. I got a couple of new movies and stuff, for Christmas/birthday. My birthday cake this year was a chocolate raspberry layer cake-yum! It was delicious! (for anyone who doesn't know, my birthday is on Christmas! And actually, Gwen Thompson, of Daisy Hollow, is also a Christmas angel). (Daisy Hollow is Grandlinda's doll town).

We didn't really do much for New Year. And once we got back to school, we had an essay to write, on our Christmas Vacation. I don't like essays. I'm not good at them.

Yesterday I got a present in the mail, from my pen pal, Maura! She gave me a cute The Three Little Kittens book! Thank you, Maura!

I guess that brings me to now, where nothing is really happening. Pounce and Licorice got into a little fight-silly kitties. We still have our tree up but will probably take it down next week. I love Christmas trees and decorations and I feel a little sad when it's time to take them down. But...they'll be up again before we know it! I guess I'll stop here since I can't really think of anything else to write.
Bye!

The last day of school was last Wednesday (the 13th). I did okay in most of my classes, I think...(mostly B's and C's. I, uh, got a C- in science. But I got an A in spelling). I did manage to go up to Mrs. Halliwell and ask her if I could rewrite my book report and she let me. She gave me a few tips to try to make it better. I got a B on it, the second time around.

I'm glad that school is out for the summer. Kaya and I don't really have anything planned for the summer. Just hanging out at home and with friends, pretty much. Maybe we'll think of something.

Tessa is doing LMPT this year.

Also, I saw two girls that look alike, going into the General Store, yesterday, as I was taking a walk with Tessa. I've never seen them before. I wonder if they're new residents in Star Valley or just visiting.

Anyway, that's it for now.
School is almost out for the summer! I don't think I'm doing much over the summer. Not really sure.

I, uh, got a C- on a bookreport I had that we got back on Friday. I thought it was okay but Mrs. Halliwell wrote thaat the report wasn't long enough and the summary was very vague. And I-I did it last minute because I didn't finish the book until two days before the reports were due... My mom said I should ask Mrs. Halliwell if I can rewrite the book report but I'm afraid she'll say no. It was my own fault for not finishing the book until late and so I prolly don't deserve a second chance on the report... And like always, if I did ask Mrs. Halliwell, I'd want a friend by me for moral support and what if Mrs. Halliwell says no? *Sighs*

This week has been pretty rainy. Earlier in the week, we had some hail. I hope we have some nice days. I also hope we'll continue filming The Show Must Go On. It's been on hiatus for months. ~SusieSusiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05366146393014694059noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3705697377416282716.post-88069704335506339502012-04-16T19:46:00.003-04:002012-04-16T20:23:03.118-04:00New FB Page & Guess Who's BackOn April 1st, I finally got an FB page of my own! I had been wanting for awhile, though Missy wasn't sure if I was going to get one since I have a blog already. But she finally let me get one! When we told Grandlinda, she asked if it was an April Fool's joke, lol. Nope! You can Like me Here.

Nicki moved in with Marina, Heather, Carrie (Heather's sister) and Nancy. I wonder how all their pets get along? Marina and Nicki both have dogs and Heather, Carrie and Nancy have cats. I loved having Nicki stay with me, for awhile, and I think it helped our friendship grow a bit stronger.

Guess what?! A few days before Easter, Kaya came back! I was so wicked happy! She said that she missed it here and that she'll probably just visit the Nez Perce tribe once in awhile. We had a nice Easter. Kaya and I got lots of candy, including Twix, Milky Way, Cadbury eggs, jelly beans and Lindt chocolate bunnies-yum! I hope you guys had a nice Easter (or Passover), too.

Today me and Kaya went out and smelled some pretty flowers and had a few pictures taken:

Susiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05366146393014694059noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3705697377416282716.post-33556986012680121252012-03-28T21:21:00.002-04:002012-03-28T21:28:45.345-04:00Not Much to UpdateUgh...I haven't updated in awhile. My life has been pretty boring lately. Not much has been going on.

Last week we had some nice weather but this week it's back to being cold. Today was rainy, too.

My room is a mess but what's new? I'm just...not good at keeping it clean. Nicki's pretty good at keeping her room clean-well, most of the time. Maybe she'll help me. I know, I know, I should clean it myself. Blah.

I'm excited for Easter! I can't wait to dye eggs-it's one of my favorite traditions! I also want to make some yummy cupcakes with jellybeans on top! Yummy :).

I should probably get off now, so I can, um...finish my homework. *Yawns.* And I have to go to bed soon. Maybe I'll just finish my homework tomorrow morning.Susiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05366146393014694059noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3705697377416282716.post-5493966033010458962012-01-09T19:42:00.007-05:002012-01-09T21:03:25.638-05:00Happy 2012!I haven't written in awhile, I know. I just wasn't really in the mood to write much. Since it looks like Kaya probably won't be coming back, Nicki will probably live with me (in Star Valley, I mean; outside of Star Valley all us dolls live together...it prolly sounds a bit confusing). She's be staying here already, which has been nice. I've been trying to get used to Skyler, Nicki's dog, living here but I'm just not used to living with dogs. I don't really like dog licks on my face or hands-especially if I'm about to eat. I much prefer petite kitty licks. Nicki's trying to teach Skyler not to jump on my bed. He's allowed on Nicki's bed though. I do like my kitties on my bed but I've grown up with kitties :). Nicki says she doesn't mind though. Skyler's cute and he's actually nice around my cats. Pounce did hiss at him a couple times though, tsk tsk.

Although Nicki and I are in the same class, we usually do homework at different times. Nicki is learning how to ride Eastern style. And I take ballet once a week. We're both in Girl Scouts. I...uh...have a book report that we were assigned last week that I...um...still have to finish reading and write...

Christmas/my birthday was nice; it was quiet. Unfortunately we only got a few snow flurries and there wasn't any snow on the ground so no white Christmas this year. I don't really like green Christmases because it just doesn't feel as much like Christmas, to me. Oh well. Nicki got me a cute little Beanie Baby named Grace! She's a praying bunny and oh so adorable! (Fun fact, Missy also a Grace Beanie Baby, so ours match!).

Me with my Grace bunny:
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuo0KQgWeiWsmBNFayiK83c7UY31T7jv-shaJxYxNVYcSezQ9DXnsFzf1qMW3rw9nDw7mL_hjav9fBQ_4ph_SKsvABbc7HBUUou9OJlU0GHdbVgNcRLSiTHHhSos1ioTgBDdWWEGzoDr1-/s400/holiday2011_181.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5695815296329099682" />

My Grace and Missy's Grace:
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQj6WX4UWXOQka71twT-KyEep-QTuKTaGR42h4eKvTnGg7ftp0Jbd7r0-jW3_MuSZU5PQRFBH_HJ1_Sa1OmDSMy-o0Li8q0wNyMU0ef6y4YnyQ8S4OxRIWlYKs-gtrPGMNlBCSBnZ_bmQt/s400/holiday2011_185.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5695815460548208050" />

On the 26th, my family took us out to dinner, along with Marina and Hallie. It was fun.

Our Christmas tree is still up and we'll probably keep it up a few days longer. I admit, I've also still been listening to some Christmas music. I just can never stop the day after Christmas-I love Christmas music! And the tree is so peaceful and beautiful!

There's nothing much going on outside of Star Valley. Missy is probably selling Sarah to Auntie Jenny (aka in Star Valley, Sarah will probably be moving). And she's thinking about who might be coming to live here. Someone who would probably live with Addy in SV, since Kit and Maddie moved. She thinks it's between Marie Grace who would be a different girl, from New England and Cecile, who would remain herself). I think both of them would be interesting to meet. Lastly for Christmas Missy got Zoey, the AA Bitty Twin girl; Zoey is so adorable and silly. She's debating between Sandrine and Paige for the middle name.

Zoey (and Dead Tired Frankie, Jingle the Husky Pup and a little bear that Zoey claimed):
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 279px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgonP7lZMelhskxsDLc1gFynkdkZn8liQ4O3ucmQi3ULdsxIF7yUIucluOSeNZEHPbqRvupU1CjFoeS6TysTpxggUYq9PdOHGed0P_iXvryl5gPZzRoqECCHepR2ru_9bNg6CLOlvUnbRh1/s400/xmas2011toys.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5695815624202576114" />

Nicki and Me :)
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWp7MNfrETXFjtFry3Jkulkq7h5-fa-DEdZZiNr7A87NJulPg3FHcgnzAaNUGKTzFazuPwQjjSR2M8HuzLUI2ldp8W5Q4T59ix-UYm4i3uF5dMQz9GLrP5egd7grplsesT0T9ELQSEYMCu/s400/holiday2011_068.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5695816218322675762" />Susiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05366146393014694059noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3705697377416282716.post-34299630079644271182011-10-12T18:23:00.003-04:002011-10-12T18:45:50.200-04:00Fall ChangesSorry for not writing more over the summer. Things were pretty quiet for the most part.

Lately I've been kinda blue. My cousins, Kit and Maddie are moving away. They're going to live with their Aunt Millie. I'm going to miss them so much! And on top of that news, also a few weeks ago, Kaya had said that she was feeling kind of unhappy and that she wanted to go and find some of her tribe to live with for awhile. She's not sure if she's going to come back or live with her tribe permanently. I want to be there for her with whatever decision she decides but I know I'll miss her like crazy, too, if she moves away!

Has anyone else had best friends move away? Does it always hurt like this?

Nicki has been staying with me and my mom for awhile and Tessa has been hanging out with us, too. Marina has been busy working on pieces for a recital so we haven't hung out much lately :/. We did hang out at the block party on Monday, which was good. And she of course invited me to her recital so I can't wait to hear her play for that.

Speaking of the block party, I sang "Dreams of Harmony" for the talent show. I also entered Pounce in the pet show/parade, which was fun. She's such a sweet kitty :).

The leaves are all turning pretty colors. After I clean my room, I'll probably put up some Halloween decorations. I have no idea what I'm going to be this year. I haven't really thought about it yet.

Here's a photo of me, singing at the block party:
Susiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05366146393014694059noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3705697377416282716.post-11537770758772381802011-06-09T19:13:00.003-04:002011-06-09T19:28:28.456-04:00HeyAck, sorry for the lack of updates. Nothing too much has been going on lately. Kaya and I are just hanging out. Pounce is sleeping next to me :). We have to clean our room again-it's a mess...it seems to get that way a lot...

School is out next week! Yay! I just hope I do alright in my classes. I, uh, forgot to hand in a book report last Friday and only found it yesterday morning...oops? This summer will be busy with filming. The sets are slowly coming along. I'm excited-but of course nervous, too!

Solana is staying in Star Valley for a visit. Sonali and Solana are both of course happy to spend time together :).

Ummm...oh yesterday was Kirsten's birthday so I'll give her a shoutout :).

The weather has been hot lately. And today was stormy. I think we're supposed to get more storms tonight, though at the moment you can hardly tell that it rained at all this afternoon. Other than filming, I'm not really sure what I'm doing this summer. Probably just hanging out at home and with friends (and also Missy and Grandlinda, outside of SV). There might be another block party again this summer, so that would be fun.

Well, I've got dishes to wash.

P.S. If you like, my friend, Tessa, has a FB fan page.Susiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05366146393014694059noreply@blogger.com0
