Before I go to bed, I was just wondering what you think I should be for Halloween? I can't choose (well there's one on the list I don't really want to be but Kit told me I should totally add it...cousins, lol). Halloween is coming up quickly. Kaya and I still have to decorate our room.
There's a poll over on the right where you can submit your answer.

Adventures in CT and NYC :)
Hi! Sorry I haven't posted about my vacation yet-I've been a bit busy-school can do that, lol.
A few weeks ago, some of us joined Missy and Grandlinda on their vacation. First, on Sept. 27th, Marina, Traveling Sophie and Grandlinda's Felicity and Annie all spent a day at the Mystic Seaport and Aquarium, exploring boats and seeing marine animals.
Then, from the 28th-3oth, I got to spend a few days in NYC where I got meet Inky, see Violet again and have a fun time at the Bronx Zoo and NYC Ballet! It was so much fun! We had a pillow fight my first night there and I went to AGPNY and succeeded in my Secret Mission Ice Bat mission-he's soooo cute!
The day after Missy and I got back to her grandma's house, we had a knock on the door from a confused girl-it was Traveling Haley! She was shocked at first to find out that she was in CT until Marina and Annie explained it to her (I'll post more about Haley soon).
Here is an album of both the others' day at Mystic and my NYC adventure! Enjoy all the photos!

Vacation!
Hey guys,
First of all, the Star Valley block party last month was really fun! Nancy and I competed in the three-legged race. We didn't win but we placed! And...I won the talent show! I was really nervous and sang "Part of Your World" along to the CD but I tried to sing louder than the CD. I was really surprised; I didn't think I did well. Some of the residents were surprised I got up there on the stage; I'm usually shy and quiet. Samantha N. got a close second with her singing "A Parting Blessing" (I think she did better than me and should have won). Felicity got third in the talent show with a poem recitition.
Anyway, I'm wicked excited! Next week, Marina and I, along with GrandLinda's Annie and Felicity, and Traveling Sophie, are going to be spending the week at Missy's grandma's house. Marina is going to the Mystic Seaport and Aquarium, which she's really excited about.
As for me-I'm going with Missy for a few days, to NY and I'm going to be staying with Inky! We've been wanting to meet each other; Shirley met her last summer. I heard Violet might still be there, visiting, too :)
While in NY, I'm going to be on a mission. I've been wanting my own Uglydoll for quite awhile now-specifically Secret Mission Ice Bat. But we haven't found him yet (besides online or a non keychain (doll-sized) version). So, hopefully I can find him.
I'll be sure to take some pics next week ;)
~Susie M. Kent
P.S. Now if only this week would go by faster!
P.P.S. Happy first day of Fall!

Video News
Hey guys,
Jess here :D So...Missy's been getting really itchy lately, thinking about making some new non-doll movies/videos and, of course, doll ones. I don't know why she's getting itchy but she got a new camcorder! It's not here yet but I hope it'll be here before Sophie and Molly visit this weekend! Do you even have to ask why I hope it'll get here? So I can film a new web show episode of course! Now I'll be able to use the camcorder instead of the digital camera-read-better quality! And...we'll be able to see what's on camera WHILE we're filming, because of the flip-out lcd screen camcorders have-yeah!!!!
Also, Susie, Megan and I are starring in a short stop-frame. We filmed the first scene on the digital camera but might re-film on the camcorder. Neither video will be up for a little while yet, as we have to film and Missy has to get firewire stuffs (to be able to transfer the video to the computer to edit; I hope she gets it soon). The camcorder will be a nice upgrade-the digital camera has been fairly good but let's face it...digital cameras are better at photos and camcorders are better at videos. Actually, Missy has another camcorder but it can't hook to her computer or anything, so it was just used for practice stuff, basically. Though she did film a feature-length stop-frame a few years ago but says that much has changed in Star Valley since then. She also had to film it in order. With the new camcorder, she'll be able to film out of order and edit, which she's excited about.
I can't wait to film my new web show episode! You'll just have to wait and see what it'll be about-because I don't even know yet! I'm also excited for the new short stop-frame, hehe. It's a fun one!

All About Tessa
Hi! Susie is letting me post on her blog so I can tell you a little bit about myself. I just came here, from AGB-B, on Sunday. My name is Tessa Joyce Daniels and I'm a My AG #31. I'm 12 years old and in the 6th grade. Earlier this year, in the early spring, I was playing at a friend's house. We were near her pond and I slipped and fell in! Luckily I wasn't in the water for long but it was freezing and I got a really bad cold and ear infection. Well, one morning, I woke up and the pain from the ear infection was gone...but I couldn't hear anything in my right ear! I went to the doctor and he told me that I'll probably never be able to hear in my right ear again. After I heard the news, I cried for awhile. After my cry, I became determined that I wouldn't let this get the best of me. After all, I'm still the same old me who loves to swim, dance, hang out with friends and read magazines. I just had a new challenge.
Even though it's been a few months, I'm still getting used to only being able to hear in one ear. My friends have to talk a bit louder to me sometimes and they say I also talk louder now. I just don't realize I'm doing it. It's sorta like if you have headphones on and are talking to someone; sometimes you wind up talking louder to hear yourself over the music but you don't realize you're doing it (it's not quite the same but that's the best example I could think of-does that make sense?)
I'm going to start learning sign language, which will help in places and situations where I have to be really quiet (like a library). I want to teach the friends I'm making here; it would be neat to start a class afterschool. I hope some of the others are interested. I admit that before I became deaf in one ear, I hadn't given much thought to learning sign language but now I see how it's a good language to know.
My favorite colors are purple, pink and green. I'm a bubbly, friendly girl and I love dogs, especially huskies. I just got a puppy; his name is Pepper and he is the most adorable husky in the world! My favorite movies are Bring It On, Brave New Girl, Raise Your Voice, Gotta Kick it Up, and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies. I love the Sisterhood books, too, and Chrissa's books.
Well, I think that's pretty much all there is to know. Oh, I'm on Innserstar U, too. My ID is Tessa12 (it works since that's my age ;) ).
Here are a few more photos of me:

Doll Decisions
Hey guys,
Nothing too much is going on right now. Jess, Jenny's Julie and Grandlinda's Peggy (fka Kit) had a jam session this evening, on their guitars. They said they had a lot of fun. Julie will be going home on Sunday and Addy will be coming home; we've all missed her!
Jess is trying to convince Missy that she does not need both #19 and #31. Missy has been trying to decide between #31 (Tessa) & #19 (Brooke) or just Tessa. After hearing both their bios, I think most of us would like Tessa to join us more (though Brooke sounds nice, too). Missy says she likes #31/Tessa more, too, and thinks the True Style outfit would be better fitted for Tessa. Plus Tessa has the Licorice Fun outfit waiting & she's planning to get the yoga outfit for her. The dress Mischa helped make could easily be for Tessa, too. #31 has also (besides almost turning into wanting #50 instead) been on her list constantly wheras #19 has been on and off more than once. Missy said she feels like she's pretty much at all the 18" AGs she wants, too. She still plans to get MAC Keisha and Chloe someday and perhaps, if she really wants one, she may get a Gotz Little Sister someday or perhaps one more future historical or GOTY.
So, I think Missy will just get Tessa, who will be the one coming home on Sunday (and joining Innerstar U, for those already on it). I'm almost so positive I just want to make a "Welcome, Tessa" banner right now.
Anyway, it's really late, so I'm going to go to bed now. 'Night!

Mischa's New Sundress & More
Mischa is visiting me right now and she wanted to post on here, so take it away, Mischa!
~Susie
Hi everyone. First off, I got a new sundress yesterday! It's green with polkadots and is trimmed with purple (my favrite color) and yellow ribbon. I also got a maching purple headband. It's the pretty much same style as Chrissa's sundress. I love it! Shirley also got a sundress-hers is the Gwen Meet dress; we had some photos taken yesterday. Here's one of me:

And my sissy-I think she looks picture perfect here!

Also, guess what? I get to go to AGB next month! Grandlinda's Emily is coming, too, and so is Auntie Jenny's Mia :) Addy and Julie will both be coming/going home that day, too.
I'm helping Missy make a sundress for the new girl who will be coming. The dress is similar to mine only it's purple with flowers and butterflines and will have an A-line skirt. The new girl's name is Brooke and she has brown hair and green eyes (she's a #19). I asked Missy what she knows about her and I asked if I could be the first doll from here, to meet her. Here's what I know about Brooke. Her full name is Brooke Astrid Jennings and she's in the 6th grade (I hope she won't mind a 4th grader like me). She's gone to private school her whole life and is from a pretty welthy family, but like Samantha, she's kind and generus, not snobby. In Star Valley, Brooke will be going to the Primrose Academy for Young Ladies (in Daisy Hollow), like Samantha J., Samantha N., Nellie, Hope, Jenny and Bridget. I don't know anything else but I'll let you know when she comes-or maybe Susie will let her post about herself.
That's it for now.

As Told By Susie
As you can probably see, I decided to change the title of my blog. "Happenings in and Out of Star Valley" was a long title and I wanted to shorten it. Plus this is my blog-I just let some of my friends post once in awhile, hehe. I also wanted to create my own title image.
One of my favorite cartoons is As Told By Ginger, so that's where my new blog title, "As Told By Susie" comes from. I even looked at some pics of Ginger and decided to try to do a similar type of pose. I tried a few different ones before going with the one you see in the blog title image. Here's the pose of Ginger that my pose is inspired from: http://www.nick-asia.com/tvshows/shows/Nicktoons/As_told_by_ginger/ginger_foutley.php
With the new title came changing the layout. I'm very indecisive about some things and so it took me a couple hours to figure out what I liked. I tried using a starry background but it wasn't working-though it was a pretty background...why can't you use your own background image on here? So, finally I decided on the current colors. What do you think of the new title and layout?
Here are a couple of other pics from my little photoshoot for the title image:
Who am I waving at?, lol

This looks like a pose for jeans ad

Lastly, here is the full view of my title-image pose. I really like how it came out :)

School's....Almost Out
School is dragging on...but we only have a week left! Last week, Jess brought her camera in and she set it up on Mrs. Halliwell's desk and did a candid camera. She aked some weird questions and it was funny! Well, until she got caught. She had to stay after the rest of the week, I guess.
We got math sheets back, last week and I...um...didn't do so well on mine. I have to study extra hard for the test coming up on Monday! Eek! I'm gonna fail, I know it. It gives me knots in my tummy just thinking about it :/ Kaya and I are going over to the Halliwell's tomorrow and maybe Nikki will study with me. Though she doesn't like studying and isn't looking forward to the test either. But she does pretty well in her classes. Maybe I'll call Marina and see if she wants to study with me, too, tomorrow. Studying with a friend is much better than alone! Marina, Gwen and I studied together in class, yesterday.
We also have a spelling test. I messed up onchocalate chocOlate when we spelled words out loud last week. choc-o-late...choc-o-late...choc-o-late...
In other news, nothing much is going on. Auntie Jenny's Julie is visiting. Right now she's with Jess and Kirsten. Jess says they're going to jam together on their guitars. Addy is staying with Auntie Jenny and her dolls. Auntie Jenny wasn't sure whether she wanted an Addy and Missy wasn't sure whether she wanted a Julie. She thinks she'll get Julie sometime, but her hair will be cut shorter, to match the books. A #50 and #19 are also on the list. Not sure who will come here first. I think Missy, Auntie Jenny and Grandlinda will go to AGB sometime this summer. If Missy gets someone there, it'll either be Julie or #19 and the other will come next year.
So...what do you guys think of my LMPT entries so far? Wait...maybe I don't want to know...I don't know if they're good or not. I mean I think they are but there's a lot of tough compatition. I highly doubt I'll win (I'm guessing who will win but won't say right now) but as long as someone out there likes my entries, it's good. Okay, I'll be sad if none of my photos place but...I guess we'll just have to see.
~Susie
PS. Since this entry has to do with school, here's my ABC LMPT entry. Shirley and I were putting up "Happy June" on the class bullatin board.
