Easter and Mini Tenney Arrived!

Susie and Kaya Easter 2017

Hi!

I hope everyone who celebrated had a nice Easter and/or Passover!  Kaya and I got some yummy treats in our Easter baskets.  We got Ferrero Rocher eggs, colorful Easter eggs and Lindt chocolate animals-Kaya got a chick and I got a lamb.  Yum!

We didn't do a lot on Easter but we of course had to watch Hop!  I love that movie so much-EB and Fred are awesome, haha!  EB: "You have nothing to fear but fear itself...and this dog I'm riding on."

This week is Spring vacation and I'm so glad to have a week off from school!  Though I still have homework to do that I haven't even started yet...including a book report-blah.  I just read Gabriela's book so I think I'll do my report on that.  The thing is, I'm not very good at writing book reports or essays or research papers.  I'm better (at least I think so) at writing stories and poems and blogging/writing letters. Writing that's not as strict or structured.

Anyway, this afternoon, a package arrived for me-my Mini Tenney doll that my mom helped me order last week!  I was so excited, I jumped up and down and quickly opened her up!  Mini Tenney is my third Mini American Girl doll, after Nellie and Ruthie.  And Tenney is my Mini AG lookalike doll-my Mini-Me!  We both have blonde hair, brown eyes and freckles 😊.

I'm so happy to have Mini Tenney now!  I used Christmas and birthday money to get her and she's wicked pretty and I can't wait to read her book with her. Oh course Nellie is still my favorite Mini AG doll as she was my first but Tenney may just become my second favorite (not that I don't love Ruthie because I do!).

QOTD: Do you have any lookalike dolls?

  1. Hi Susie,

I'm so happy that you finally got your own Tenney! You definitely are twins. Sadly, there is no AG that looks exactly like me. Ruthie's hair is too light, Josefina's skin is too dark. If Z comes out, she'd probably be the closest. My little Madame Alexander doll, Mathilde, has black hair like me. Of course I still love my Cécile, Grace, and Kit dolls irregardless. I don't really know which one I prefer. Kit and I have a similar personality, Cécile and I have the same middle name, and Grace's story takes place in my hometown. I like them all for different reasons.

Juliette looks so much like her Ruthie doll, though! Her personality is also a lot like Ruthie's. She also loves her Isabelle doll...for obvious reasons, haha. She wants Marie-Grace as soon as we can track one down. Then we'll both have two historicals and one GOTY! I think that will be our limit.

    Sophie
