10 Days til' Thanksgiving; 39 Days til' Christmas (and my birthday)

It's hard to believe it's mid-November already. Pretty soon Thanksgiving will be here and then Christmas (which also happens to be my birthday :) ). I'm not yet sure what to get Kaya. Maybe I'll make her something. I also have no clue what I'm doing, birthday-wise. Probably nothing much. I love having my birthday on Christmas...though sometimes I wish it were on an ordinary day instead of such a big holiday. There's so much hustle and bustle during the holidays and whatnot. Still, a Christmas birthday is nice-and Christmas itself is one of my favorite holidays, too. So I'm lucky to share my birthday with it.

Anyway, I'm just sitting here, in my Lizzie McGuire PJs, with my kitten, Zip, on my lap, purring. He's so adorable!

Have any of you begun listening to Christmas music yet? I have. I love Christmas music and even sometimes get in a mood to listen to some in say, the summer. I think Kaya and I are going to get our decorations out soon, too. I'm really waiting for the first snow to stick, so I can really get into the spirit :).

  1. But don't rush the days away, Susie! I like Christmas, but I don't like to count down to Christmas. Then pretty soon my life is over...you know?

Do you have Christmas songs on your iTunes? Isn't it funny when you have it on shuffle in the middle of July and Christmas music starts playing?

  3. Eight days until my birthday! In our family, we can't start listening to Christmas music until after my birthday.

And "Last Christmas"? That song is so mushy, blehhh. I always get it stuck in my head. They should make a Christmas song with robots.

  5. No Christmas music here. At least until tommorow night. Jenn has a strict "No Christmas music until after Thanksgiving dinner" policy.
